Sniffling. I have yet another cold. It ain't C19, by the symptoms, just another cold. Just a runny nose, no fever or aches like the flu, either. Living on Benadryl, again.   Bright side is, the wife and youngest son went to CostCo for the weekly shopping, and youngest son made dinner. They came home with all kinds of foodstuffs that I wouldn't buy and that will probably go bad before getting eaten.

It's still dark outside...it's freakin' early.

Let the dogs out. Our soil is black clay and it rained most of Friday. Now it's black glue.

Zig came in with his paws packed with the stuff. Whole kitchen floor full of muddy prints and little mud balls. Tried cleaning his feet with a damp cloth and seemed to make things worse. Got him into the tub finally and washed off most of the mess. Then had to mop the kitchen floor, twice. And mopped a large part of the living room floor.

I have a feeling that once the sun decides to come up, I will see that my efforts were lacking. UGH! The joys of having pets.

Watching football. Sort of. I've been busy shopping for a phone and have only half been watching the game (Niners vs. Rams).

Ordered a new phone. A Google Pixel 4. I considered the Pixel 4a, because it's unclear whether the wireless charging on the Pixel 4 will work with the type of cases that I like which have a magnetic clasp. However, it's an Amazon Renewed product with a 90-day return period, so I'll just have to try it. The offers on the 4a were not as good, though I was hesitant to give up the headphone jack on the 4a. The sellers on the Pixel 4a were not as good as on the Pixel 4. And I got 6-month interest-free financing from Amazon, even though I didn't necessarily need it (I had $100 of credit).

I've had a Pixel 4a for almost 2 years, it's a very capable phone.

On a business trip.  The new boss wanted to meet everyone in person.  So we are here for several days at a $500 a night hotel.   Considering we are a small team within a larger team, the larger team is well below revenue target for the year, and the year has but 1/6 more to run,  is this really necessary?

Started getting a wicked headache during my last round earlier this morning. Took some ibuprofen and now I feel much better.
