I'm trying to start a new habit of reading and audiobooks of a morning. I start at a specific time and can choose my poison, breaking an hour into two 30 minute sessions with a break in between them. I read some of a book on the command line in Linux, some of Truman Capote's In Cold Blood, and a chapter in As a Man Thinketh.

Working on getting lidarr set up on my NAS. Yesterday I couldn't get it successfully deployed. I just accomplished that. Now I need to set up the storage paths.

Drinking a cup of Aldi Colombian K-Cup coffee. I didn't like Colombian, but yesterday I read a description of what it's supposed to taste like and it's much more agreeable now that I know how it should taste.

The two HGST He6's in my two-drive RAID array as main storage for my desktop have 85,000 hours on them. Oofda. I tried to buy a spare, but the drive I got was a deader. I could still use a spare.

ChatGPT tells me I need to replace the main storage on my desktop. At 85K hours, it's right, but I may wait a while because of money.

It's always something. I've got two WD Red Pro drives on the bench. One runs hot. The other makes a faint clicking sound. I guess it's time to retire them.
