But it isn't all doom and gloom. I got a good laugh out of our doctor when he asked me to explain how I hurt my back originally. I started off with "Well, I had her legs pinned behind her ears like this..." :p

Wow, another memory trigger. Not long after Sam and I got together back in 2001, we were up in my room at my parents' house doing the do and she developed some kind of temporary muscle lock in her hips, which we didn't discover until both our bells had rung. In practice this meant she was unable to close her legs without pain. I covered her up and made her as decent as we ever were when my Mum came in and saw the problem. I massaged her (Sam's) hips and after a while she was able to sit up properly and could hobble about enough for us to get into our doctor's. Then of course we had to explain how it happened.

So watch out: I can break ladies by flicking my hips. For half an hour.

Been super busy with work these past few weeks, winding down with a nice couple of glasses of Jack (the better stuff has to be saved for the holidays) with my girlfriend. Going to watch a bootlegged copy of "Gravity". Will report how it is later.

If anybody was wondering, this was a very good movie. There were a few things concerning the plot that I thought was dumb, and a few scientifically inaccurate things I couldn't help but point out out loud, but enjoyable noneoftheless.

Well, after spending the last few days nursing a muscle spasm in my lower back - and finally approaching full recovery - I slipped on a wet sidewalk this afternoon and reinjured it.
