The bible says God did it. That statement is not altered or peer reviewed or subject to popular opinion. Science has the luxury of getting stuff wrong and changing the "facts" as it goes. (The "beauty of science" - we get to stuff up and rewrite a new tentative hypothesis and still pretend it is somehow a hallmark of high IQ)

Interesting how proud you are that your holy book has never changed its position, but you feel no need to, say, show that this position is the correct one. 'Science' finds gaps every day in its knowledge. That's the point of research, and of learning things. You try to bridge the gap, and if you find more gaps after doing it, then so be it. That's the very basic nature of human learning and understanding.
