[split] Changing OS

RE: [split] Changing OS
Hm, where can I purchase it? Sounds like an interesting idea... esp. as video game are the only reason I would ever want windows. To all of the other Mac user out there btw... do you know how I can resupport the Classic environment (Purchase Mac OS 9 or something)?

Wine is free...like most of the Open Source movement. You can install Wine on OS X through MacPorts, although if you are using the 64bit version of Snow Leopard, you have to execute a few commands beforehand (but I don't think that applies to you).

It's a project for porting across open source software to work on the Mac.

I run Parallels on my Mac. Although it did cost me a couple hundred bucks to get it set up. It's nice to have both operating systems on one machine except my printer doesn't work on my windows side.

You should have looked into the free alternatives first. Virtualbox is very good and very user friendly.
Hoi Zaeme.
