False. Facts point toward area floods, but nothing on the scale of a worldwide flood. Of course, primitive people were not aware of how big the world was, so their small area of inhabitance would have been considered the world to them. Besides, had Noah really been on that ship for forty days and nights, do you not think he would have sailed well beyond the small biblical area that the primitive man thought was the entire world?
