SPG, are you going to answer my question or just continue to toss out red herrings?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yeah, that's why there are so many accounts in ancient texts of Tyrannosaurus.
"And lo, I rounded the corner of the path, and there was a huge lizard consuming an ox." said no ancient text ever.
Quote:Not even a trillion years would have helped form the first living creature by chance.
'Chance' is not an accurate description of the process. Atoms are only to able to form molecules in a certain, limited number of ways. Molecules are only able to combine and interact with other molecules in a certain, limited number of ways.
These are not chance, nor are they designed. They are following the laws of the universe.
Oh, now I did it. I'm sure SPG will post this any time, "The universe has laws, must be a law giver".
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Well, IMO, if people win lotteries almost every day and some get struck by lightning twice, "chance" does exist, and is responsible for millions of things every day. It's a proven fact of life. Go pray for something. Nothing will happen. Chance may step in and prove me wrong, but a sentient force won't.

The facts point to a worldwide flood.
That is how massive world wide rock layers containing fossils are formed.
Oh wow you believe in the flood?
Where did the water go?

Actually the vast complexity of life here on earth coupled with the fact that all of them that have been seriously investigated appear to share a common ancestor is pretty good evidence that no god is required.

So what qualifications do you have in geology to say that? Oh, and when are you going to say about your biology qualifications too?
Or is it just going to be red herrings with a side of dishonest assertions again?
If the facts point to a flood, you should have no trouble pointing some out, and this will be a first, because you haven't yet pointed to a single shred of evidence in your inane crusade to hit the bottom of the barrel where theist arguments are concerned.
