RE: Excellent News!
These people love the stone age! I do not think America will ever change the middle east. They are stuck in the past, and refuse to progress. Karzai is being protected by the US Gov. I wonder which country he will run too, when we leave.

This government is very corrupt. Most people in the middle east will sell their children for money. No one here takes pride for their country, but will for their religion.

Quote: KABUL, Afghanistan — The United States and Afghanistan have reached an impasse in their talks over the role that American forces will play here beyond next year, officials from both countries say, raising the distinct possibility of a total withdrawal — an outcome that the Pentagon’s top military commanders dismissed just months ago.

American officials say they are preparing to suspend negotiations absent a breakthrough in the coming weeks, and a senior administration official said talk of resuming them with President Hamid Karzai’s successor, who will be chosen in elections set for next April, is, “frankly, not very likely.”

“The time to conclude for us is now,” the administration official said on Friday. In the absence of a deal, “this fall, we are going to have to make plans for the future accordingly.”

Long past time to get out of that shithole.

Whatever will the republicunts do without a war somewhere?
You throw the ball at the republicans, while your democrat black jesus is funding wars elsewhere.
War is merely a tool of the internationalist capitalist scheme of the US. Both democrats and republicans are fond of it, though their methods do differ-republicans are as men, deploying troops and actually fighting whatever they see as the target, with the support of the NATO of course. Democrats are crafty pussies, arming dissidents, and if not found, creating such an opposition out of thin air, and then arming them with weapons to pull out a revolution, while providing international support via the use of the UN and NATO.

Well, the US already destroyed every and all nationalistc movements there, so why really complain about this?
They've taken out the nationalists in Iran, the nationalists in Iraq and other north African countries, you're trying to take out the nationalists in Syria now, by supporting religious fundamentalists.

Thankfully nationalism is still a major force in our country, and will be so till the day the last Turk here draws breath.

Yes. In case you haven't noticed Obama is ending "wars" that the republicunts started. Try to imagine John McCain in the White House.

He would have found a reason to bomb Turkey by now.

That's what you believe my friend. As a matter of fact, the US still continues to fund wars one way or the other. Don't know McCain or whether he's willing(or mad enough) to bomb a NATO member, though I'd say both democrats and republicans continue to spread the seeds of war in the mid-east with the goal of creating a steady supply of oil for themselves in the future, for which they need governments that will be loyal to them, instead to their own people. I really doubt the sincerity of any course of action taken by American politicians ever since the end of the cold war, and Obama is no different-the fact that he's not actually ending a war that didn't exist, but only pulling out a different form of US agression, one that is subtle and more in line with the cold-war era, using proxies instead of their own soldiers tells me that having a John McCain that openly bombs other countries is better than having Obama using sneaky methods to pursue their gaols. At least you know who is causing the trouble.

What was all that with the Arab spring and the NATO supplying dissidents with funds and arms? You mean to tell me that this is not a coup facilitated by US interests? Just like the one that happened in Iran? Or Venezuela?
Obama is not really different, if you ask me. You think he's ending a war. He's getting ready to reap the fruits of that war.
Pull out and condemn all the Afghans who have sided with the US during the occupation to certain death. Unless they fight back, of course, for which the NATO will supply them with whatever they need. If they're successful, a Saudi Arabia-like government will be formed which will further serve the interests of the US. This is why the US can't have truly nationalistic governments around in the middle east who will nationalize their resources and perhaps deny access to oil whenever they feel threatened by American aggression-you take away their prime weapons, the rich natural resouces they possess.
Obama is certainly nothing new. Vilifying republicans as warmongers while whitewashing the democrats is really nothing but the deed of an ignorant partizan.
