My youngest brother is also an agnostic atheist. He has decided not to try and explain to my 7 year old niece and 4 year old nephew why he doesn't believe in gods for now. He thinks it could be awkward for them now socially and it could cause parents of friends to make massive efforts at conversion on their behalf. So he intends to do the minimum for now.
