At which point the child becomes too old and the priests lose interest.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes because if the kid can play tuba out of their ass, it means it is well used.

Hi!

Most everyone I grew up with went to catholic school, and immediately 'lapsed' at adulthood. I really wouldn't sweat the particulars much...kids end up doing their own thing, often in spite of their parents anyways. So be honest and forthright and cross your fingers.

Now, if you just want to make a scene and 'push back' those pesky relatives, maybe take your daughter to Burning Man or other decidedly non catholic experience of your choice. Just a (devious)thought.

Quite right. I have fond memories of the day I showed my priest my first pubic hair.

My youngest brother is also an agnostic atheist. He has decided not to try and explain to my 7 year old niece and 4 year old nephew why he doesn't believe in gods for now. He thinks it could be awkward for them now socially and it could cause parents of friends to make massive efforts at conversion on their behalf. So he intends to do the minimum for now.
