Islam And Internal Peace

RE: Islam And Internal Peace
The message only makes sense to those of the faith that have given up their senses to believe a lie.

Or worked it out and concur. It appears to be true, and you can't refute it. I therefore defer to the most logical conclusion, unless evidence is presented otherwise.

My dear Wael El-Manzalawy

I get the distinct impression that you are not here to enter into debate or to learn anything about atheists but instead to 'teach' your own interpretation of Islam.

Further, I get the impression that, to you, we are atheist in our religious views simply because we have not been exposed to necessary teachings and revelations and so we live our lives in ignorance.

If only someone could 'show us the way' and explain the true nature of God and his wisdom then we would cast aside our ignorant beliefs and embrace his love and teachings.

Do you think that you are the person to do this? Do you think that you have wisdom and knowledge that can be imparted to us in such a way as to cause a change in our views? Many have tried, many have failed.

I think it only fair to advise you that although many here welcome you and read your posts with interest, generally we view you as a lost soul whose mind has been poisoned by the pernicious brainwashing of superstitious mythology and as such will treat you as you would a child or if you're unlucky, an object of ridicule.

I still don't see his introduction... Angel

Same impression here. The guy is clearly preaching and I bet he'll be gone within a week.

You don't see an introduction because his mind isn't operating on the same sort of wavelength as your normal sane human being. All those attributes of the mind that are responsible for the normal niceties that prevail in the majority have been taken over by the religious virus and rewritten to concentrate on converting 'non-believers'.

Sad really Sad

The history of man and myth refute it just fine therefore I have no need to do so. An appearance of truth does not make it true. How did you work it out by dismissing reason and logic and redefining them by the Christian standards of faith? True logic is the enemy of religious beliefs.

In Islam, believing in Allah and His Most High Names is the root of our faith. The fruits of this faith are innumerable. We are limited here to the subject of internal peace. The cure of all psychological problems springs of our faith that Allah is AlRahman "The All-Merciful". Whatever we are facing in our lives,we believe that Allah Al-Mighty is more kind to us than our own mothers. Can a mother throw her own baby into fire? Allah is more Merciful to us than our own mothers. Will He torture us if we are believers and faithful? Then let`s face our lives with internal peace as long as we believe that nobody and nothing can harm us.

Learn to spell and punctuate properly before you start preaching, otherwise you just look retarded.

In any case, believing in allah is no different to believing in god or jesus or zeus or any supernatural creature/being for that matter. However, I am open so show me a difference and prove me wrong.

No. Why would there be?

Quote:The discussions may take a very long time. But if we came to an agreement that there is a Creator who has created the universe, then we can move to the second question[...]

2- Should we worship the Creator of the universe or not?[...]
Well this one doesn't apply to me then, since you said this only applies if I "agree with" the first question.

Furthermore, how would I be a "Secular person" if I agreed with question 1? Isn't that the biggy when discussing with "secular people"? And if they, like myself, don't agree with that one, then the other 2 questions are redundant...

Quote:If we came to an agreement that we should worship the Creator of the universe, then we can move to the third question:
No agreement here - I don't even agree with 1. That's why I'm a "Secular person".

I'm an atheist, which means...I don't believe in God. These here, you see, are atheist forums. So...there's quite a few atheists here: So since atheists don't agree with your first question - by definition - then lets concentrate on that...first question...before jumping the gun yeah?

Quote:3- Have you made a comparison between Islam and other doctrines?[/size]

Well a lot of doctrines aren't even religious ones. And yes I make a comparison in the sense Islam is a different doctrine to, for instance, "Christianity"...however: Like Christianity, and like all other religions: They all have something in common...The complete lack of evidence and the - therefore - need for "Faith" in order to believe in their bullshit.
