Never really visited the Isle of Wight, only done the festivals there. I assume as a local, you hate them? Wink

I'm living & working in Norwich now. Duller, on paper, than the IoW but there's a cracking free party scene and some of the best jungle producers & DJs in Europe.

I can also confirm that some of the stories about its inhabitants are true...

The festivals can be a pain in the arse for traffic, but that's about it really. I've only been to the IoW festival once when I was bar staff and it seemed a bit naff really. It's not really my scene anyway, but the scale of it was a bit of a let down.

I don't have much experience of Norfolk. I knew one guy from there who was incredibly intelligent, but the accent hid it well Big Grin

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Is it just Sandown that's full of old people or is it the entire island?

I can't help but wonder if there actually is anything to do there; it looks quite small and isolated and bingo probably gets boring very very quickly....
