The actual threat doesn't bother me, because I'm destined for Heaven under their rules anyway.

Basically, my fate according to those who wish to condemn me for my unbelief is to be punished post mortem. "God" must know that for this fate to be a punishment, it would have to be the exact opposite of what would reward me. To send me to Hell would put me in the company of all those before me who have defied this god and all its works, such company ranging from Samuel Clemens, Robert Ingersoll and Bertrand Russell to Carl Sagan and Christopher Hitchens. So Hell would be denied me and Heaven, the worst punishment I could possibly imagine with all its insipid denizens and eternal arse-licking, my final destination.

If nothing else it leaves the street fundies spluttering in my wake while I make good my escape.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm more concerned about my reaction when the day comes someone doesn't tell me to go to hell.

A combination of (1) and (3). If all the gays are going to Hell, that's where I want to be for sure, and I'll be licking Megan Fox's pussy all day long for eternity. But I still know that it is meant as an insult, and I don't let it go without addressing it first. I might ask, "Really? You've never sinned?" or something to that effect.

I sometimes just say "There is no hell, but I'll catch up with you in the lake of fire."

Which of course makes no difference, since both are filled with fire and literally MILLIONS of christians disagree with you.

The way I understand it, no God-loving Christian with a proper amount of faith (that of a mustard seed, for all those who attended sunday school Smile ) should ever declare that someone is or is not definitively going to hell.

People who claim to be Christian and pass judgement on their neighbor put themselves in a position higher than God, the greatest of the sins. It is not a loving thing to say, and they have neither the power nor the understanding to say it.
". . . let the atheists themselves choose a god. They will find only one divinity who ever uttered their isolation; only one religion in which God seemed for an instant to be an atheist." -G. K. Chesterton

Perhaps you could explain that to GC, because he just doesn't get it, coming from us hellbound heathens.

When my atheists friends (the enlightened brotherhood) tell me that I'm going to hell I laugh my ass off and I toast to our good fortune.

When a fucking christian says it to me, I tare him a new asshole while I'm destroying that smug look on his face ... as if threatening me by proxy somehow makes it ok.

Once upon a time I even dragged a christard to his car for spewing his hellfire horseshit all over my campsite. Undecided
