Yo, if you're gonna do it, you gotta do it right!

For some values of "provocative", yes. It's my understanding that Socrates intended to stimulate critical thinking, not incite a beatdown.

We're all sharing opinions here, right? Cool.
In my opinion, Socrates was a laugh that a certain "Plato" cooked up, and it was so good that he just had to share that shit. It's hilarious XD
Like... greek comedy central! Or was that the tragedies? TRICK QUESTION!

Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

... and yet he got the ancient Greek version, a beatdown in a bottle.

The version I began with was much longer, it needed a snip to get under the avatar radar. I left the Tarantino bits in though.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

Like Max Greece, I should probably read the rules. But I'm pretty sure my post was just as relevant as yours because who the hell doesn't think about thumbs up butts when you bring up a thumb representing JohnV? I know not.

See... that's just the thing, my dear: there are two kinds of people in this world. Those who have, and those who don't. When it comes to examining the relevancy of a post, and distinguishing whether I might make any particular post: I've got that. When it comes to large breasts, nonsensical one-liners, and single image posts that hardly respond properly to previous text: I don't.
