There seems to be times when I am away from this most excellent forum and some of our members get a bit concerned.
Never fear my friends! Kichi and Zen DO have lives away from this most excellent forum and we always come back to share our adventures. So....
After a VERY lazy start to this Sunday morning (GMT+8) Zen decided that he would wash the Cars (note plural)
This was at 11 am and 30 degree C heat. Suffice to say Zen finished the Car (note singular) and high-tailed it to the couch and Aircon for the rest of the day.
In the mean time temperatures kept climbing to a very warm 37 degrees C with a hot North-Easterly (straight from the Pilbara deserts) leaving my poor garden (note new plantings) wilting in the heat
The sad looking Mediterranean Herb patch
At about three in the afternoon I couldn't take it any more and just HAD to come to my garden's rescue ...note the wilted and crisped Nasturtiums!
For all the heat I am very excited about the
Promise of MORE Passionfruit!
The promise of Cherries!
The promise of Blueberries!
But even the Geraniums couldn't handle the heat
Meanwhile...in Kichi's Kitchen.... strange things were happening.
Passionfruit Butter (also known as Passionfruit Curd)
Annnnd! Lemon Passionfruit Meringue Pie!
Right now I am up waiting for the meringues to finish drying out so I can turn the oven off and go to bed. So ya see? Atheists have a rather busy and fulfilling lifestyle, just like theists!
Tomorrow I think I'll sleep in 'til about 06:30, another hot day on the way...Yay Summer!
