How thoughtful of you. Being an atheist and admitting it are two different things, sure. My deconversion process was no picnic, but the concept of atheism isn't some super profound idea...unless you know something we don't.

I don't know why he's worried. Not all non-believers are going to get along. Being friends with Min is not a prerequisite to seeing that there's no Yahweh or Allah.

And seriously, Polaris. If the only reason you still believe in a deity is because of min, then keeping to a religion is only one of many problems you face.

It is silly to think that there is anything about the mind's deciding there isn't enough evidence of gods that would become a trigger for violence.

It is NOT silly to think that theists' beliefs in purported commands from god could become a trigger. We see religious violence daily all around the world.
