Oh right, are you going to compare their GDP to say Japan? The GDP of the Vatican, FYI, is $0 so good luck with that.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Considering the billions they would have collected in tithes over the years from the Philippines.

$150000 is an insult.

If you felt obliged to temper the vitriol against the RCC, you failed with that GDP reference. You dislike them, see the slap to the face they meted out for what it is.

After some digging, I found that the vatican pledged 4 million, that is up from the orginal 2 million they orginally pledged. http://world.time.com/2013/11/13/china-t...00-in-aid/
China is the one who has only pledged 100,000.00 and when criticized by the rest of the world they went to 1.6 million.

This thread and all who have participated in this without doing their due diligence should be ashamed. Your hate and intollerance should have been directed toward the Chinese, not the Itialians. Big Grin

Even $4 million is chump change for the Vatican, with the billions of dollars of wealth they're sitting on.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Yeah, but the $4 million is more urgently needed for shuffling pederast priests out of the way of secular law, and to pay off a few asses, I meant boys, who became impudent enough to sue the church for the wrongs.
