Seriously? We're now comparing who donates the most to establish ... what exactly? Obviously how much you're able to donate depends very much on your own circumstances. That's funny, according to the CRS Catholic relief services, they pledged 20 million, which almost covers 20% of the total funds being pledged.

The RCC did not make the Claim, the CRS did. The CRS is an organization sponcered by the catholic churches found and funded in the United states.

The RCC is expected to also make a pledge to aid in philipines as well. It is my understanding that the 20 million that has been pledged thus far has nothing to do with the RCC.

and yes the CRS can be taken at their word because this orgnization is held accountable by the BBB, Charity watch, and Charity navigator. Their numbers have to be absolutly spot on to maintain their standing with these organizations.
