He doesn't do nearly enough videos, but Peter Hadfield (aka Potholer54) has always been one of my favorites.

On youtube, the folks at the Atheist Experience, Steve Shives, and there are a few others.

Also I've been reading some of Carl Sagan's books, love that man.

As for not-openly Atheists but have/had Atheistic viewpoints: Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bertrand Russell, hands down two of my favorite people ever.

I agree with all - well, most - of the previous nominees; and did I mention Penn Jillette?

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's pretty awesome. Yeah, I rape and murder and enslave all I want. I just don't want to, and I don't need to be threatened with torture, or rewarded with paradise, just for being a nice guy. It really says more about the people who ask this question than the atheist.

He looks kind of like Aron Ra, with the long hair and mustache.
