The filibuster has only been abolished on judicial appointments, not legislation.
And, Wendy Davis did a filibuster that almost no Republicans have the balls to use: the talking variety. If they had to do what she did every time, you better believe that the GOP wouldn't be whipping them out every single vote.

Lemme see if I understand this: Senate voted to end the filibuster for court appointments. Any other bill, filibuster stays. And the GOP is pissed.
Hey, gize, maybe if you didn't abuse that rule, we wouldn't have had to alter things. Fact is, you didn't see the dems filibuster EVERYTHING while they were the minority like this.
Personally, I'd like to see us go back to the traditional filibuster; specifically, if you want to filibuster, you (or your supporters) have to go and speak. When/if you're done speaking, the filibuster is over. It would be more difficult for them to abuse it like they are now.
