Xtian Fuckheads Claim Right to Kill Obama
|
I suppose the Xtian Fuckheads are technically correct. I believe its somewhere in the 2nd amendment. You know, the one that says we have the right to maintain state of the art weapons so that we can over throw the government as needed.
The thing is when the Secret Service and/or FBI comes to speak with these douchebags, they'll start screaming "Christian persecution!" It's a win-win situation for them (or so they think).
Normally these right-wing wacko militia types attempt to justify their beliefs and actions with some kind of logic twisting, but this time they seem to be content with just saying "he's doing a bunch of stuff we don't like, so we have the right to kill him!"
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.
Well this is God's country, after all. Says so right in the constitution. Somewhere...I think...I mean, we wouldn't have "In God We Trust" on the money if it wasn't, right?
Poe's Law: "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."

My question is, why is the Union soldier hanging his face in shame? Tells you more about who painted this than they're probably willing to admit.

Well, truth is though that the US is a culturally Christian country, and the founders of the country were also culturally subject to the Christian culture that was the religion of the European immigrants that founded the USA. However, nowadays, the US is rapidly becoming a cosmopolitan state, and some people don't like it, and I understand them. It really is time to forget the fucking founders. Things have changed greatly in the last 230 years.

A nation who forgets the past, cannot look into the future. However, there also is the fact that Americans are in fact, not a real nation. If the only thing that binds Americans together is the promise of wealth through something called "opportunity", what can you expect? If you can't connect to the founding fathers, and the people who made up the majority of the US when it was founded, Christian European immigrants, then its really easy for you to say what you say. But there are people who can connect to the people who have founded your country, and wish to keep this connection alive. "I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature.....Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make half the world fools and half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the world." -Thomas Jefferson Also, about the picture: that is a Jon McNaughton, a very conservative painter, who strangely takes a somewhat positive view of Thomas Paine. |
