Hi all
I guess this is my introduction to this forum. In short I've always been an atheist. I never had religion thrust upon me. I've been lucky to have been spared things like church service and sunday school, oddly enough this was a result of the fundamentalism my grandmother grew up with. No church for her kids. I've always identified as atheist and the anti theist is a new label for me, one I came to from listening to christopher hitchens. I've enjoyed lurking on this forum and hope it will be even better as a participating member.

I just started to read the bible and I'm a little in shock that people believe it to be true and accept it as a guide for morality.
