Well, for those watching the Hunger Games movies, there will be a third one. It's meant to leave you hanging because there's a third book.

I watched "The Host" the other night, despite the fact that it's based on a book by Stephenie Meyer of Twilight fame. It's too bad it's so horrible because the scenario would be interesting otherwise.

Could be an interesting movie about people hiding from and being on the run from drug cartels, but gets bogged down in heavy dialogue as if each character is trying to be extremely profound. Ends up being a confusing mess and you often aren't sure what's going on. I understand this is because the movie was written by a novelist as his first screenplay effort.
It is written by one of my favorite novelists, Cormac McCarthy, the best living American novelist, IMO.

It hurts me to hear that this movie is bad, because his books are so good.

Saw "Cabin in the Woods". I thought it was funny. Tucker and Dale is better though.

Groundhog Day. I like Bill Murray (and the movie) Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Die Hard 2. The sound is off, as I listen to music. This is a $4 Blu-ray, for which I have been properly scolded for borrowing the money for 6 days from my sister to buy it on Black Friday. I'm so fucking negligent and irresponsible.

I own the DVD and I've watched it many times. The wife had never made it through the entire movie stating that it's "too weird" and losing interest. Recently she made it through the whole thing. I did pause it a few times when the direction split, to explain the scenes to my wife, and she loved it. We both cried at how beautiful this love story truly is... *swallows lump in throat*

An episode of "Wild China" on Blu-ray, as well as Kill Bill, v. 1, and Serenity, also on Blu-ray, and 1/2 of Skyline.

(Moving on to my 4 disc set of "World War II in HD")
