You are what the upper .1% is attacking. They don't worry much about the poor. They have already trashed them.
Agreed. I really think they would rather see ONLY two classes. The dirt poor and themselves.
Lower, Middle, Upper Middle and Upper are just taking money out of their pockets. It's only the dirt poor who keep shoveling money into the coffers consistently.

If they're so dirt poor then where are they getting the money to shovel into the coffers? The rich ain't going to get rich if they have to depend on the dirt poor.

Have you ever had to live from paycheck to paycheck? That is what the poor do, because all their money goes to being able to survive. Where does that money go? To the rich, of course, via bills and groceries. The poor do not have a good chance, unless they win the lottery, to pull themselves from the dredges where they are forced to remain.

The rich often also utilize the poor's muscle at cut rate wages all while railing against pensions, unions, minimum wage increases, paid vacations, insurances, any corporate tax hikes, etc., etc., etc...

Everyone wants more and more and more. Really, people think that the poor and the rich are different. In fact, both are equal in greed.
Give a poor man a million dollars and he will most certainly not use that money to feed poor people like he was before.
The point should be to eliminate greed by promoting the concept of social justice in both the poor, middle class and the rich. And you cannot do this by promoting class war and class-based consciousness.
Because no poor person wishes to remain poor, so why would you promote a class-consciousness based on poverty or lets say, "low income" when no one really wants to stay that way? You're poor, I'm poor, lets be poor together?

Not at all. I didn't say what the wealthy elite could actually cause to happen but rather what they'd like to see.
and so far, they've been very successful at increasing the gap while bringing the American economy to it's knees ... only to make a profit from it.

If everyone lived off of 3,000 dlls a year, nobody would go to school. We wouldn't have doctors, detectives, teachers, dentists, etc. When people got sick, they'd die.
My kids will get an education and I am still getting one. My parents didn't pay for mine, so I have to go slow and take breaks to pay up. It's an expense I'm will to make, because I'm curious and like to learn things. I'll make sure to feed my kids right, so they are healthy during class. I will make sure to save for their education. Education isn't free in this country.
I don't feel guilty for none of the above. I don't even feel guilty for having nice shoes. I won't even try to explain why having those shoes is justified. They're pretty, is all.
BUT... good for you. Your life style seems awesome (like your username) for you. You do you and I do me.

Well, America gives them this opportunity. Why not use it? Their loyalty is not to anyone but themselves, just like any good American.

Cost of living has continue to rise as the value of the dollar declines. The purchasing power of the dollar has decline steadily. I could live with making less, if the purchasing power of the dollar rose! Gas does not cost $1.00 a gallon and milk is expensive. Every state and location also has a local economy which contributes to price.
Also, the MBA have continue to come with new ideas to maximize the bottom line (even if hurts the employees). Companies are consider a person in the eyes of the law. I believe if you can never die, the company should never be consider a person or given the right to vote.
