Ah, but The theory of evolution by natural selection is a "scientific theory"
Not a mere philosophical theory.
There are substantial differences between the two.
The first has a huge mass of evidence supporting it; makes verifiable predictions and many have indeed been verified...
While the latter is pure mental masturbation.

You'd do well to know the differences... to avoid saying stupid things like that.

I prefer physical masturbation. More pleasing!

Evolution Theory is a theory, just as Germ Theory and the Theory of Gravity are theories. Evolution itself is an observed fact of nature. Don't get hung up on words until you know what they mean.

And could you please at least acknowledge my earlier post about questions asked in vain? I don't mind if you don't answer me, or if you missed it, but to skip over it as though I said nothing just comes across as rude.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Srsly, taken right out of the apologist's handbook.

You keep saying the word 'theory'; I don't think that word means what you think it means, lady.

Wow, such a thin skin to being shown what a word means. I am genuinely disappointed.

I'm not apportioning blame to anyone for anything.

You don't understand the meaning of the word theory if you're using it indicate something that has no evidence behind it and can thus be disregarded to that end.

Well then... show us how not ignorant you are.
Because... thus far... you've shown the opposite.

Do you believe that the earth orbits the sun? I assume you do, because it is a fact.
Do you belive in evolution? There is more evidence from more branches of science that demonstrate the evolution of species. It is considered fact in the developed world and is taught as fact (in most places) because there is overwhelming evidence to support it. To think of it as a fringe theory is incorrect.

Also, nineteen, explain these verses from the qur'an to us, please:

"We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape..." (15:26).

"He began the creation of man from clay, and made his progeny from a quintessence of fluid" (32:7-8).

Clay? What sort of clay?
This sounds like the first humans were made from clay. I

A theory is a whole shitload of evidence, hard work, experimentation and objectiveness that is always under fire from scrutiny, even sometimes from infantile ideas. We have evidence to support our view, you have "Jack Shit" and Jack has left town.

Idiot.

Don't you understand where religion....including your barbaric horseshit... rates on that scale? Somewhere down around wishful-thinking and fucking delusion.
