Yup. He may not be a raging Christian but he sure has the persecution complex of one... only he thinks it's the "Nazi Liberals" who are out to get him.

Yep, because anyone you don't like is a Nazi liberal. Because we all know how liberal those Nazis really were, what with all their freedom of belief, freedom of expression, and freedom of association.
I really hate how the word "liberal" has become a pejorative in American language these days.

Well Nazi does mean National Socialism. Socialism seems like a liberal ideology. So technically the Nazis were liberals in at least one sense. It seems that tyranny transcends the liberal/conservative labels.

They were socialists in name only. In cold, stark reality they were fascists who intimidated and crushed all opposing viewpoints with violence.
"Liberal" comes from the word "liberty," meaning freedom. The Nazis were about anything but personal freedom.
