Also, the Huns were not defined upon ethnic lines. Modern ethnogenesis suggests that the huns were a diverse range of Asian people united by a common culture. They seem to have had no concept of race. They were not Turks, they also embraced an anarchistic, primitive communistic, & rather cosmopolitan (although militaristic) approach to life.

Well you sure do have a lot of trinkets, true.
If you mean the overwhelming most advanced weaponry on the planet, then yes we do.
But it looks as though none of your trinkets won you the war in Vietnam, neither in Afghanistan.
Vietnam was fought half heartedly with only containment in mind, rather than annihilation. Afghanistan was all about winning hearts and minds. We weren't trying to just exterminate the population in either of these, nor Iraq.
We Turks are a people that have a great deal of history behind us. This gives us power and the courage advance.
Thats wonderful, but makes no difference against an overwhelmingly superior force, with training, numbers, and technology all stacked against you.
We have not been resistant to technology. It was just the fact that we didn't need technology because we were rather well off during the time of the Empire.
Excuses, excuses. Islam hasn't produced any notable scientific breakthroughs in centuries. You lost out to the West for a good reason, because we went through the fifteenth century Enlightenment that Islam still resists.
We enjoyed every form of luxury that inspired the Western artists to become orientalists. Of course, later on, laxity proved to have very serious repercussions, as we have briefly detached ourselves from the iron-willed discipline of our ancestors.
The problem is that Mohammad venerated the past as perfect, and told his followers to emulate it. This resulted in a religion that was extremely resistant to change. Emulating your ancestors will just perpetuate your problems.
And the west wanted us dead for several times in succession-countless numbers of crusades aimed to relieve your precious "Constantinople", and your attempts of driving us back to Asia during WWI when it was deemed to be possible, failed.
That was before we were centuries ahead of you technologically, socially, and culturually. There was admitted a time when Islam was ahead of the West in many areas, but then you decided to stop innovating. The modern world is a result.
What makes you think that you could do the same now? Why don't you come and retake what you once thought was an inseperable part of the Western-Christian civilisation? Come on and rescue the lands of your brothers if you are trust yourselves that much.
Christianity has long lost its sway on our culture, which is the very point I'm trying to make. We don't care about those lands like we used to. You can keep them.
But since you're now emasculated to a degree of massive, I really don't think that you're capable of even putting up a fight without facing massive internal whining from your liberal overlords.
I wouldn't be so cocky. Our civilization is no longer particularly defined by its own conflict with yours, but thats because we're much more powerful. Islam just isn't the threat it used to be.
The west is weaker than ever-materialism runs rampart, and everyone is somehow discontent with what they have. Lazy and preoccupied with their base desires, they are very much like pigs that are fattening only to be slaughtered.
You talk alot of trash living in a country thats a member of NATO, of which the US is the overwhelmingly most powerful member. Thankfully, your leaders seem to have a bit more sense about all this. Hence, peace remains.
