I don't eat Subway much. A Subway meal is just as bad - or worse - for you as a Macca's meal, and there are plenty of healthier takeaway options at my disposal. If they wanted to be healthy they'd take the whitebread off the menu entirely (who the hell eats white bread if they're health conscious anyway??), the cookies/meals off the menu and not offer footlong subs (offer 6" and 9" subs instead). They don't want to be healthy - they just want to sell takeaway. They also lie about the calories in their subs by only displaying the number without source - barely anyone ever orders a sub with no sauce, I saw someone do it once (ham sub no sauce) and they looked at him funny as if it had never happened before! It also assumes you have only 1/2 salad! It also assumes you have no cheese - who has no cheese on their subs?? The average footlong sub contains over 900 calories (and up to 1200!). For comparison, a Big Mac has 540 calories. Calories in a Large Big Mac meal: 1172 ( source). If you have a diet coke then your meal has 948 calories. So a standard footlong sub has about the same calories as a Large Big Mac meal with a diet coke.

I've heard people having success with subway. I don't understand why they just don't fix their own sandwiches at home.

You can have success in many ways because in the end the It just depends on intake minus calories burned.
I lost a substantial amount of weight without changing my diet by playing DDR. I also lost a bunch of weight by biking around town.
You could achieve weight loss with just a diet, but I don't have the discipline to avoid tasty food... so I just burn off what I can.

Today's dinner: pizza. Calories: 569.
Rye-Wheat Base: 111 Calories
Oil (3ml): 101 Calories
Tomato Paste: 15 Calories
Anchovies x6: 72 Calories
Fat-Reduced Cheese: 90 Calories
Olives x4: 151 Calories
Mushrooms: 28 Calories
Capicum: 21 Calories
Total calories today (so far): 1042. Expected total is: 1174 by bed time. I can see clearly now why I got away with eating so many snacks late at night in winter 2012 and still lost the weight I wanted!

My daily exercise/diet routine.
7:30 AM: wake up, spend an hour warming up by masturbating/ejaculating into a milk jug until the jug is full to the brim with semen.
8:30 AM: put the jug in the fridge, spend 12 hours weightlifting, doing cardio exercises.
8:30 PM: cook kick ass steaks with my wives, fuck them all until 10:00 PM
10:00 PM: go to the basement, open the fridge, grab the jug of semen, proceed to suck down every last drip until dry (bone dry) for maximum protein replenishment.
10:05: go to bed.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Incidentally we both start off our days the same way
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I keep making desserts and it's killing my diet. I really need to get off break and go back to work.

Go with vinegar instead of mayo or mustard or whatever. It hardly adds any calories to the sandwich and makes it nice and tangy.
Also, adding avocado can replace the "sauce" mouthfeel you might lack if you go "dry" with your sandwich. 1 tbsp of mayo has like 90 calories (and it's gross, but I digress), while 1 tbsp of avocado has more like 30-50 calories and it's a way healthier food for you.
