Quirky habits

RE: Quirky habits
I realized this today. When grocery shopping, I neatly stack my groceries in my cart and on the counter for the clerk. I had a clerk ask me if I was OCD.

RE: Quirky habits
I just remembered another one. Sometimes, right before going to sleep, I will check to make sure the alarm on my clock is on and set to the correct time. Repeatedly. After the third or fourth check I just look really intensely at the clock and mentally declare that the clock is definitely set correctly and I need not look again. That usually works, though I will still sometimes have the urge to look again, I can then talk myself out of it.

I don't always do this, and I'm usually not very OCD (or would that just be OC?).

I also tend to over analyze things. Of course, I don't see it as over analyzing, but someone else might. Take this for example:

Is adding that extra clause quirky, or is it merely elucidating?

I also find myself doing the definition thing in reverse; that is, providing multiple answers to a question varying by multiple possible definitions of a somewhat vague word. But that might also be more elucidating than quirky. I just want to maximize mutual understanding, and providing specific definitions to slightly ambiguous words helps do that? What do you think?

I am weird about my Steelers...

1) I have to wear a home jersey when they are playing an away game (and vice versa)

2) Hat backwards on defense, forward on offense.

3) Must be drinking Iron City beer (which is terrible, but it must be consumed)

4) Terrible Towel on right shoulder for Field Goals. Otherwise it will go wide.

5) Any time I see a game at M&T Bank stadium (Baltimore Ravens), I break a cupholder off. I have a small shrine to their destruction. There are 6 cupholders.

It's only weird if it doesn't work.Undecided

In my nine years in the Pgh area, I never had an Iron City. I think my drinking buddy was too much of a snob to let me. It was always Anchor Steam, from my home state of CA. I also never got the buzz surrounding Primantis.

I watch TV whilst listening to the radio quite a bit. If it was anybody else, I'd go nuts. But I'm allowed.

Wha-Wha-Whaaaaat?

The Cappy and Cheese is one of the greatest sammiches on the planet.

Yes. Those are fries and coleslaw on the same sammich. Glorious. I'd eat one every day if I wasn't intent on living for a while longer.

I will say I do love fries on a sub, and on PIZZAAAAA! My local place in Allison Park sold lots of pizza with fries on top.

Last time I was in town, I went to a place called Bellisario's in North Hills. They didn't have fries on the pies I don't think. I want fries on pizza now. I need to go for a run.

I find it horribly annoying. Like just can't handle it. I swore at the gas pump this morning.
