Considering what's written in your Bible; I find it preposterous that adult human beings take this account, literal or otherwise, as an accurate description of a being capable of creating a universe. It's at this point, as Min pointed out, that it becomes silly. "god" with a small "g" I mean, not necessarily the God of the Bible.
But Level 7 means there's not even a possibility that there is a god, meaning you don't just need a lack of evidence for a god's existence, but some very convincing evidence against it.
Right? Or am I misunderstanding the Dawkins scale?
I understand the g-thing. Until there is evidence for any gods, there is absolutely no reason to suspect that their existence is possible, let alone probable. Without evidence I am compelled to relegate these god characters to the same part of my brain that stores all other fictitous literary characters. (yes, I'm being figurative describing brain function).
Regarding your interpretation of the Dawkin's scale, are you a 6.99999 on the Santa scale? I don't have to have evidence to claim something doesn't exist. In fact, my stance makes your job easier; all you have to do is provide one piece of evidence demonstrating the existence of any god and my hard position on the matter comes crumbling down around me.

The whole Dawkins scale is bullshit to me. But I am a level 18 wizard, and I casted Power word, Kill on god with a successeful initiative roll. Pwned sucka!

Like many others, I hover around the 6.99999999999999 mark in terms of what my beliefs are, simply because I have to remain nominally open to the concept. On the other hand, in the context of how I actually live my day-to-day life, I have no qualms at all about dialling it up to 7, since no god - including "God" - plays any part whatsoever in my world.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

In terms of a monotheistic deity (deist/jewish/christian/muslim/sikh) I'm in the 6+ category.
The notion that any religion knows what happened at the start of the Universe is pure bs.
The archaeology of the middle east screams a huge no to the basic honesty of the OT account.
The NT is blatantly hashed over and so full of bs it isn't worth the effort of picking out plausible components.
The Koran is the same old rubbish resold with a dose of extremism.
The Guru Nanak is a genuine effort to try and start over realising the flaw in the original but inexplicably applies the basic flaw to the new work.

Are there any Level 7's on the Dawkins scale on this forum? Why are you so sure there is no god? I'm a 7. I'm so sure there is no god because there is no god.

Bah, of course you would beat me to that punchline!
And I'm a 6.5, 7 when it comes to the gods of literature. You do not ask me why I don't believe in Ehlonna, Chaia or Hastur, so don't ask why I don't believe in Allah, Yahweh or Loki.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I would say I'm a 6, but would see myself moving to a level 7 rather then a level 5. If we're talking about the God that's represented through the religions then yeah I'd say I'm a 7.

Nothing is for sure, but I'm 6.(99) on the Dawkins, for sure. Jesus just seems like an egotistical womanizer, and his heavenly father makes Saddam look like Clara from the Nutcracker. So, maybe it's just wishful thinking, but even so, Christians have no proof of anything.

I am completely open to the possibility of a deist god, but I know that there is no theist god. I know this theism describes the properties of god to us. Because we now know that storms are not caused by god for example, I know that a theistic god does not exist. I think there is a 50/50 possibility of there being a deist god, but a theist god does not exist.
I know that YHWH/Allah does not exist the same way I know that Cthulhu doesn't exist. Just as Lovecraft gives us the coordinates of R'lyeh, the bible tells us that heaven is in the clouds. Both YHWH/Allah and Cthulhu are equally disprovable.
