6.999999999999999 but the likelihood of any god existing is remote and jesus is just plain silly.
7. No evidence for any god. Considering what's written in your Bible; I find it preposterous that adult human beings take this account, literal or otherwise, as an accurate description of a being capable of creating a universe. It's at this point, as Min pointed out, that it becomes silly.
I cant say i completly like the dawkins scale but i consider myself a seven in some sense, although I'm completly sure he doesnt exist I'm open to legitiment evidence that would conjurdict my world views. Iam certain he doesnt exist because the way he is described matches something imagined by ancient people .
ALL PRAISE THE ONE TRUE GOD ZALGO
I have a level 7 fighter/cleric, if that counts.....

It's too, 'restrictive' for lack of a better term. It's like forcing someone to choose their sexuality with only straight, gay, or bi as the options. It neglects all the nuances in between. But Level 7 means there's not even a possibility that there is a god, meaning you don't just need a lack of evidence for a god's existence, but some very convincing evidence against it. Right? Or am I misunderstanding the Dawkins scale? Bertrand Russell's Teapot Analogy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot Quote:Russell's teapot, sometimes called the celestial teapot or cosmic teapot, is an analogy first coined by the philosopher Bertrand Russell (1872–1970) to illustrate that the philosophic burden of proof lies upon a person making scientifically unfalsifiable claims rather than shifting the burden of proof to others, specifically in the case of religion. Russell wrote that if he claims that a teapot orbits the Sun somewhere in space between the Earth and Mars, it is nonsensical for him to expect others to believe him on the grounds that they cannot prove him wrong. Russell's teapot is still referred to in discussions concerning the existence of God. |
