The Christian Delusion

The Christian Delusion
By John Loftus. Just bought it today as the next book I'm going to read. I've heard Loftus, a former pastor, was trained under William Craig. Anybody familiar with the book? I would like to hear your thoughts; was it a good investment?

RE: The Christian Delusion
It's great. It's not entirely by Loftus though. He's the editor of the book and the author of one chapter I think. It's collected writings of different authors. See also the sister book "The End of Christianity."
My ignore list

"The lord doesn't work in mysterious ways, but in ways that are indistinguishable from his nonexistence."
-- George Yorgo Veenhuyzen quoted by John W. Loftus in The End of Christianity (p. 103).
