You weren't involved in the writing of the bible, so can you not represent its contents adequately? Your right I was not there. But, the Holy Spirit was. The Holy Spirit in essence wrote the bible. It is this SAME Holy Spirit that we Ask Seek and Knock for, and it is the Same Holy Spirit that indwells us and answer/respersents the bible when we look to it for guideance.

That's why.
The process of looking to a source for guideance is not the issue. It your source material that is the issue.

Question begging aside, in your worldview, was the holy spirit not also present during the creation of that video, since god is everywhere? Where is the variable between the creation of the bible and the video, that allows you to say one thing once, and another thing the next time?
Oh, and the question begging. That too.

Yeah, you'd better demonstrate that the bible was written by a divine source before you claim it, you're right.
Because we aren't going to take "I'm right because bible, and you're wrong because not bible" as an argument.

The Holy Spirit was not just present He wrote/Inspired what was written meaning the Bible is His content. Therefore He is able to impart it's knoweledge on those in whom He indwells.
(That is why I can answer the questions on this board)

Ah, no. Begging the question is asking a question is an informal fallacy, because it assumes the answer as part of the question. Again I did not ask you a question.

How do you want that done? full filled prophesy? practical application? Personal Contact with God?

Where did I say this?

Ok, no problem read the book of Isaiah, and get back with me. Then we will go over it line by line together and compare Isaiah with the life of Christ.

Yeah, Drich, I know what Christians claim about Isaiah and its "prophesies" of Jesus. Just give me the short version of why the Christian interpretation is correct, as opposed to the way it is usually read by observant Jews, who obviously don't buy the Christian gloss.

So tell me again sport about how I've "been pegged."
No you didn'y, you loterall asserted with NO evidence that we can 'choose' God or sin, when sin permeates every other facet about us and our decision-making. You made no mention or argument about how this is the case.
You're 'pegged' because I've demonstrated your ignorance and repeatedly pointed out your inconsistencies and contradictions. Sport.

Yes, because I'd have to be an idiot to believe otherwise.
Quote:I suppose you will get that when you die but before that point God is looking for a consenting relationship, therefore it has to be under your own free choice.
Having empirical evidence of your god's existence would not in any way make it impossible for me to choose whether or not I wanted a relationship with him.
Quote: Now it is possible for you currently to deny that he exists if you want to there isn't really any way to get around that if we don't have concrete objective proof. If there was such thing then you would be forced to worship God when you're not really interested in God or anything he has to offer.
If your god existed and had the qualities described in the Bible, I would still absolutely refuse to worship him. Murder-obsessed monsters like Yahweh don't earn my respect.
Quote:Like I said he doesn't particularly want to rape you as he has a great deal of love for you.
If refusing him results in my suffering direct punishment, then not only is it love, it is certainly a direct analogy to rape.
