Yes I get it, but I think you're blaming the wrong man for it.
As I said, I treat our own women with respect and dignity. I value them and cherish them for their respective qualities and their contribution to society and their sacred status in regards to the well-being of the nation.
As I said, my views regarding women are rather national, in contrast to the internationalist, feminist approach.

Again, you don't really care about equality and justice for women at all, you only care about your self interest within your country, only in your country do you care that things meet your expectations.

Revealing..

How is that revealing?

You'd have to put your head up your ass to not have figured out by now that Mehmet only cares really for what happens in Turkey.

He's an ultra-nationalist.

Yes, what seems to be the problem with that?

Well, I do care strongly about what happens outside of Turkey.
Turks do not just live in Turkey, you know. We have yet many brothers and sisters outside of our borders who face death daily, in Northern Iraq, Syria and China.
I do care about them as much, or even more than what happens here in Turkey, as we do have sovereignity and a sense of security here, while our less fortunate brethren do not. Just previous year, there have been well coordinated bomb attacks against Turkmens in Iraq that resulted into hundreds of deaths, and many more by the filthy Communist government in China against the Uyghurs. Our hearts bleed and mothers weep every day. However you don't really care about that, do you now.
Why do I have to care about anyone else while I still have to care about the well-being and security of my own?

My mother is like that. she's pretty much an isolationist that thinks we should get everyone out of other countries, stop spending money in other countries, bring the businesses back here, and just solve our own problems and tnd to ourselves.

It's just a worldview that some people have. They don't all value each human life exactly the same as everyone else. Even I don't really do that completely. I hate seeing stuff like this, but I wouldn't choose someone I don't know/like over my family.

What I'm doing isn't isolationism. Its nationalism.
I love my own nation, and I care for my nation. If everyone on earth had the same amount of love and care for their own nations, the world would be a much better place. Africa wouldn't be in poverty, or under the hands of petty warlords and corrupt politicians.

Nationalism does have drawbacks, but I can understand where you're coming from I think.

It certainly has no drawbacks at all. The majority of today's countries have been established through nationalism.

There are disadvantage of just about any idea on the planet. I'm sure someone more informed about the history of nationalist thinking could explain some things.

Quick google search gave me an article. http://towardanewtomorrow.blogspot.com/2...of_31.html

This is not an article, its a blog.
To be honest, given his extreme ignorance and his quoting of Stalin, I'd say he didn't even study how nationalism came to be, and how nationalism is actually the point where humanity has eventually arrived in sociological terms.

His internationalist paradise, the USSR collapsed like a house of cards after holding out for only about 69 years, and that, with the help of the oppressive Stalinist regime, killing millions just to keep the political climate stable.
