Also, we should not imprison people on drug charges. Period. If they are addicts, we should get them help for their addictions, and if they are dealers, we should legalize the drugs they deal and have them sell those drugs legally with a HUGE tax on them.

PS: OP, you continue to suck at English.

If we didn't incarcerate all of those non-violent offenders committing victimless crimes, we've already solved most of the problems of cost and overcrowding already.

You've got two choices. Either kill yourself or make the most of your life.

Just don't whine to us about it.

I accept that the death penalty may be necessary in some cases. I have no problem with it personally.

Though, in my opinion there should be absolutely no doubt - even the slightest hint of doubt should get life in prison (and I mean "life" not, sentenced to life and then out in 10-30 years), and should be limited to the worst criminals in society.

Seems like this would be limited to crimes committed on camera and in which the criminal vocalizes his intent.

And yet there could still be room for doubt.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

My life has more meaning since I gave up believing in fairytales.

For a start I no longer pray for people and then pat myself on the back for a job well done. I help people. I volunteer.

Life is what you make of it.

Not necessarily.

There can be conclusive evidence given through forensic and DNA investigations.

I would simply rather limit the number of innocent people who could potentially be executed.

Forensics and DNA only have so much to say about intent. They don't interpret themselves, after all.

I would like to make sure that there is absolutely zero chance that an innocent person gets executed. Anything greater than zero is completely unacceptable to me. There's only one way to make sure of that.

No too many convictions have been overturned by DNA evidence and it costs more to convict in the judicial system than to let them stew in their misery.

All it takes is one to invalidate the justifications for the death penalty.
