No one has ever really examined a soul, but many people insist it exists, and can feel pain. Hence, hell. except there are situations where a person can't feel pain in life due to the nerves of body parts not being able to send signals. You can hit a paralyzed person in the leg, and it won't hurt. Except if souls can feel pain, then wouldn't you be able to feel it through your soul? Darkmatter2525 did a video on this.
Of course this probably means it can't feel pleasure too, so either place would be rather bland.

Oh! This old misunderstanding again. Please, allow me...It's "Non-physical" pain and pleasure. It's a kind of fictitious stimuli that has no physical properties, yet is defined by physical terms. It's like physical stuff, only not physical, and imaginary. And...I think you can fly with it. Not sure...

Yeah. I've heard that your soul actually feels greater pain than your body, but since we can't actually examine any of this stuff, we can't really prove one way or another. It's like arguing whether or not vampires are effected by non christian holy symbols, or if you have to be a member of a religion to repel them with religious symbols. It's kind of moot until someone finds us a vampire.

Examine? We can't even make sense of this in terms that correlate with reality! Pain is physical, so what the fuck is Non-physical pain? That idea ain't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin gettin' it on.
