My 23 year old son was over today. He was naked in my spa room when I mentioned to him if he felt uncomfortable being naked I front of me. His answer?
"WTF mum! It's just a body and you taught me not to be ashamed of it but to look after it, where are the muscle relaxing salts?"

I hope my son is like that when he is older. I teach my son the same thing. It's just a body and they are all different in their own way. I also tell him there is nothing worse than shaming someone on the way their body looks. I have a friend who has a daughter who is 8 years old and has never seen her mother naked, has no idea what is between her legs, and has no idea she will be getting a period soon. I am baffled. My 3 year old son knows more than her...

I'm wondering if, to deny ones own sexuality causes mental illness per the APA, and is obviously unhealthy, then perhaps parents have it backwards; openness about body. parts till they become self aware, then openness about sexuality and sex might just change the course of events in those (16, pregnant, but love Jesus) years.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's
sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god
does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Definitely a cultural thing. South American tribes habitually remain naked, no one bats an eyelid.
Woman has her hair uncovered in an islamic country and gets attacked with acid.
Know which I prefer.
