RE: witchcraft really?
Just like Christianity, I haven't seen enough evidence to convince me witchcraft is factual. I've talked to people who claim to be witches and who even cast spells and perform weird rituals but, so far, whenever something happens that's supposed to be from the ritual, it seems more like a coincidence than any magical ability. Truth be told, what they want to happen often doesn't happen anyway, but those failed spells are always forgotten about.

That being said, as long as you can talk about witchcraft intelligently and as long as you aren't being a douchebag about your beliefs, I don't care what you believe. That's kinda my rule for any religion, honestly. At worst, I'll just stand back and laugh at how absurd you look.

A christian user commented and told them not to because witch craft is against Christianity. I asked him if he really believed in witchcraft and he said witch craft is very real and it upsets god. I said you do realise that harry potter is fictional?.... no reply.

So christians on this forum do you believe in witchcraft and cursing people?

Since it seems no actual Christians will give you a straight answer, I guess a former Christian will have to do.

It depends on the denomination and the individual. Pentecostals absolutely believe in witchcraft and the power of witches to curse people. With Anglicans, it depends on the Anglican. Many liberal denominations don't officially believe in literal witchcraft with supernatural effects, at least not in modern times; but I don't think any forbid belief in the power of witchcraft.

Indeed. From personal experience, Roman Catholicism is heavy on the witchy beliefs: curses, possession, milk-turning, infertility, warts, black cats...

Fucking nutters.

Although it means I have lots of fun watching supernatural horror films: I can suspend my disbelief so quickly!

Catholicism is straight witchcraft. They don't even pretend otherwise.
