Did Drich make two grammar mistakes and one spelling mistake in that sentence on purpose? "My pet peeve is people whose pet peeve is grammar and spelling.

I'm not much of a grammar nazi, though. I also need to proofread my own stuff more. Nobody's perfect. English was one of my better classes in school, though, up until sophomore or junior year in high school.

People who say "pronounciation" instead of pronunciation (seriously if there is one word you're going to get right...)

Also, pacifically instead of specifically.

Standard.

It's the runner-runner beats that drive me nuts.

My peeve: people who don't understand that such beats are long term positive equity and good for the game. Big Grin

She bought a walking stick, but she doesn't know how to use it. Poor lady.

NO. You were not "like". You said. Also I seriously doubt that when people talk about how someone turned around and said something I doubt it to be the case unless they were pirouetting like ballarenas!

Off topic, but nice dress! The fit is perfect, i don't think I even own anything that fits me that well.

One of my biggest peeve is people who let their kids do whatever they want in public. You may be used to the noise and the rudeness but the public isn't and shouldn't have to tolerate it. I hate it so much. I've seen parents who continue to have their conversations as if nothing is happening when their kid is annoying everyone in the same space. No one is going to be comfortable telling a kid off when their parents are right there.

Also middle aged men who start conversations with me on the subway or the bus. What the fuck do you think is going to happen? In my mind, you are at best a creepy dude and at worst a possible rapist/stalker. I'm usually friendly with strangers who talk to me but don't approach me at a place where it's impossible for me to get away.

Hair dryers. It's loud and oh my god so annoying. At least close the door when you use it.

Oh and people who don't use headphones while watching things on computers. What the hell?
