The KKK gets more pathetic through every reincarnation. The original KKK during the reconstruction years after the Civil War had a membership comprised primarily of the upper strata of society. The second birth during the 20's (of which Ohio had the most members) were more middle class in membership and much more violent. The third birth during the 60's comprised mostly of just the dregs of society. The only time I have ever seen any KKK in Texas was when I was around 20 years old. It was a group of members from Georgia set up on the side of the interstate trying to recruit members.
I didn't notice anyone stopping.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
They learned to integrate with society a little better and changed their name to the Tea Party.

Wife put down her mother's maiden last name instead of her actual name. The siblings were half siblings. During the years the two married, the state didn't preform blood tests or run background checks. (February 4, 2014 at 10:25 pm)Ferdinand Wrote: Faked birth certificate. That's pretty fucked up. I hope they didn't have kids.

And how they've kept it from their children, I don't quite understand. The oldest is soon entering high school, and she's yet to openly question why she only has one set of grand parents. |
