Are you suggesting the parents should have excluded their kid from their religion? Maybe left him in the house while they goto church? Is this better? Is this what atheist do with their kids when they have a family out ting but don't want to bring their kids along?
My family outings don't involve indoctrination on behalf of an ancient cult.

That way when your kid is your age he can make moral judgements against you and this generations. What indoctrination would that be? That evidence and sound methodology trump ancient, hard-to-believe claims? Guilty as charged. That their moral compasses should be guided by a healthy concern for themselves and others, rather than appealing to some alleged god's holy book that they will spend their lives defending, twisting and turning in the throes of the most rank moral relativism while insisting that the god they worship is the ultimate arbiter of "objective" morals? Yep, guilty. As for generations making moral judgements against their elders, nothing new there. Each generation has its failures and shortcomings to answer for. We are not immune from future censure. It's funny how you people will take something you have no concept of...not a clue about, and turn it into a negative. Especially since there is no harm done to the child or family. And is actually inspiring to others with disabilities! Yet someone screws millions including yours truly... with the obvious lie: "they can keep their doctors", gets the free ride! Talk about the perverbial "sheep"! Always seeking, finding and straining on the gnat and swallowing the camel.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
Ohmigerwd!!!!!!!!!! It's Roneedee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited I could pee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. |
