If you troll, you'll look bad regardless.

I don't, and I don't advise it. Let them stew in their own echo chamber. They don't want us there and on some of their forums, just expressing the fact that you're an atheist is a bannable offense.
We've got more fun here because we LIKE to talk to theist visitors and members.

I might consider going to one and telling them about all the money God gives me for tithing. I also want to tell them about the time my fingers were cut off in a meat grinder and after praying and putting anointing oil on the nubs God grew new ones on my hand. Praise Jesus the Lord on high. None are mightier than you. I also want to give testimony about when I fell of a cliff the Lord sent a Angel and he caught me and I was saved.
Lord I lift your name on high! Lord I love to sing your praises.

But seriously. It's all been done before. There is nothing new under the sun.

Probably the best way to make fun of them would be to outdo them, instead of just pointing out their errors. Go all Jack Chick on them or something.
I guess I could say you likely won't get far on their home field, but that's probably how many christians think about coming here. I know it's possible to actually change a person's views through online debate, but it probably doesn't happen as often as many would like. I've yet to see someone concede an argument on a christian or atheist forum. I participate in both. I will say that the operators of this forum are fairly hands-off, which is good, although I understand the need for some control. When I post on this forum I put my thoughts there for all viewers and just hope that I'm presenting myself well. I am also truly interested in understanding the minds of atheists and other non-christians.

The banality of Christian forums is what makes Christians come here.

I find xtians in large numbers nauseating. But I couldn't blast them for coming here and spreading their bullshit if I were to go to their sites and do the same thing. It's called the moral high ground. Something jesus freaks know nothing about.

I wouldn't call them banal. If you're totally uninterested that would be true. Also, as far as treatment goes, some feel thaat they have been mistreated on christian forums, it's probably not the norm. Although I've generally been treated well on this forum, I've also taken a lot of abuse. I think it goes with the territory. If you want to venture out of your comfort zone, you can't be too thin skinned.

Lacking originality, freshness, or novelty; Unoriginal, not interesting. Yep. Christian forums tend to be banal.

Just to be clear, when I posted on ChristianForums, I only posted in their "apologetics section" where non-believers were supposedly allowed to debate with Christians.
I don't mind if a forum has a members-only rule. I can respect when a group only wants to have a discussion among the like-minded. It's the dishonesty of inviting open debate and then heavily rigging the debate that I found galling.
Atheist Forums Hall of Shame:
"The trinity can be equated to having your cake and eating it too."
... -Lucent, trying to defend the Trinity concept
"(Yahweh's) actions are good because (Yahweh) is the ultimate standard of goodness. That’s not begging the question"
... -Statler Waldorf, Christian apologist

Before joinging a Zelda forum, I was much more against gays and abortion than I am now. Although you may not count that as a good things. That's just what I meant by knowing that some people really do change their views eventually.
