Ya know you're in New Orleans when your friend calls himself an Ethnic Catholic. It's weird here, some people are racist, though their creole-ness pretty much means they are part black... then some blacks claim to be ghetto or whatever, but really they're just regular creoles like white ones... then a random tourist from like Oklahoma comes in and calls us Cajuns... then we go batshit crazy. That is really the secret to the New Orleans racial unity. That and every single goddamn mayor of ours is corrupt/on trial. When I can vote, I'm not voting.

The gumbo is also pretty good too.
