Can donors be banned?

RE: Can donors be banned?
You could always, Like, just not break the rules...

Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

Raptor, why is breaking our rules so important to you that you'd pay to do it? It's not even like we've got any sanctions that'd particularly put someone out.

If we were to look at this forum as society and the mods and admins as its governing body, what you're doing is the equivalent of a person-corporation lobbying the government with pre-emptive bribes so that you can flaunt the rules without fearing consequences.

It's like performance art to demonstrate the blatant rapaciousness of corporatism. If I thought this was your intent, I would applaud you.
You are confusing corporatism with corporatocracy.

I think the good way to handle this , is to give the donors an extra chance before banning , since they are one of the main reasons this forum is running.

Or conversely, give them a shorter leash, then mock them for giving money only to get the shaft!
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Unless they have enough money to bribe the staff (quietly-like) Smile

I... on the other hand... am the god of suicide. I might appreciate your tribute enough to do something favorable for you.

Tiberius is the main reason the forum is running. He would have paid for it out of pocket regardless of whether or not other people chipped in and helped him out.

Credit where it's due Smile Oh, and that guy who donated a huge chunk of change. There's that too.

Can they be banned? If you're lucky! They can also be bent, folded, mutiltated, racked and beheaded. Mind the rules.
