Oh my god, geology!! Love that field. He will also be able to tell you about the other dating methods, since carbon dating is only good for about the past 50,000 years, that christians NEVER talk about.
Yeah, he's a huge science geek; always has been. One of his childhood dreams was to become a palentologist and the idea that he could actually do that is kinda exciting to him. One of our first dates was actually to the natural history museum and he was really excited looking at all the minerals and fossils and telling me all the details and facts about the all.... and he had all those facts memorized. I think that was when I fell in love with the guy. <3
And even he's admitted, what he knows to be true about science contradicts what he was taught to be true about god/religion/the heavenly father.

Tara, are you sure you aren't with Ross Geller..?
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Yeah, the doll face wouldn't look out of place in like five of my favorite cyberpunk anime. That is not a bad thing.

Heh. I'll have to ask him if Ghost in a Shell inspired that painting. He did say he was shooting for the uncanny valley and he seems to have hit it.
