Of course you know what is right for EVERYONE? And you are right there to offer your support to "ALL" the disabled I presume.

I have a Christian friend Joe that I would love for you to meet! Unfortunately Joe can't talk... or move. Except for his eyes: up for yes, down for no.

I'll bet if you told Joe your thoughts about "inspiring" disabled people...he'd move his eyes!
She is using her disability for fame that's disgusting. The activism is secondary. If haven't noticed she's been paid a LOT of money to go on talk shows. Her bringing awareness to the masses isn't the problem. She looks weird. She knows she looks weird. She is taking advantage of that fact. Using her disability as a gimmick for her activism is the problem.

Looks weird?

That's it?!?!

You, my dear, might want to seriously think about what you just said.

You are being less than impressive at the moment.

All I'm saying is that in order to bring awareness to an issue and for people to take you seriously don't use shock value. True I've never seen her but if she does display progeric traits, and obvious visual impairments then yes she will look ODD. I just don't think should use the way she looks to start a serious conversation about disability.

What the fuck should she do then? Wear a bag over her head?

No, I just think her methods are flawed. I didn't say that, nor will I ever say that. I just think she should make her presentation less personal, and more educational. It's coming of more autobiographical than informative. In order for there to be change there must be education not testimonials.
