She is a Roman Catholic, and she has spoken out in terms of her belief in God who has "blessed me with the greatest blessing of my life, which is my syndrome".[6]
Um, she looks pretty happy in her Youtube videos, and not being able to grow body fat is hardly a "tragic medical condition". Being able to eat 5,000 calories a day is also not tragic (that's 2 1/2 times the healthy amount for "normal" women). The only negative effects seem to be a weak immune system (but this is the case for anyone underweight anyway) and that she's developing blindness (also, many people go blind during the course of their lives anyway). Plus she isn't actually blind yet. She's fully able to lead a normal life (well within the confines of "normal").
Plus I hardly see how this makes her "vulnerable". These are all labels that you came up with, Brak.

On the flip side of the coin I really want to hit people like her! She is not helping the disabled community at ALL with her "inspirationally disadvantaged" act. Her actions only perpetuate the idea that people disabilities aren't really people, we're symbols for causes.

FYI I'd give my right eye to be able to eat 5,000 calories a day and maintain my present weight!!

I eat more than that and I'm actually losing weight. That's because of my most recent job I think. If you are going a mile a minute at work, you better have the evergy.
It can be all about people having different metabolic rates, but I'm not that well versed on the specific of those biological traits.

There is no such thing as "equally disabled" someone who is paraplegic is not the same as someone with autism or deafness. And even people with the exact same disability handle it differently.
U can't quantify a disability

I disagree, I got the impression that she she was saying "yep, this has happened and I'm going to deal with it the best way I can"
So I admire her spirit.

"Hit" her?! "symbols for causes"?
Of course you know what is right for EVERYONE? And you are right there to offer your support to "ALL" the disabled I presume.
I have a Christian friend Joe that I would love for you to meet! Unfortunately Joe can't talk... or move. Except for his eyes: up for yes, down for no.
I'll bet if you told Joe your thoughts about "inspiring" disabled people...he'd move his eyes!

But since I agree with you, I'm morally against the Paralympics and refuse to watch it.

FYI - it's a picture of Homer from the "King Size" episode, I imagine you might have seen this when you could see.

I'll bet if you told Joe your thoughts about "inspiring" disabled people...he'd move his eyes! She is using her disability for fame that's disgusting. The activism is secondary. If haven't noticed she's been paid a LOT of money to go on talk shows. Her bringing awareness to the masses isn't the problem. She looks weird. She knows she looks weird. She is taking advantage of that fact. Using her disability as a gimmick for her activism is the problem.

In fact, she looks anorexic, and anorexics that are underweight are certainly not a picture of beauty, it's a picture of misery. But aside from that, I actually disagree that she looks "weird" - how do you know what she looks like if you're blind? You're making a judgement based on what other people say.
What about Michelle Knight, do you want to hit her as well? She knows that she looks "weird" as you would put it. She's 4' 7 which is what also makes her look younger than her real age. Personally I'd want to hit this guy, and I've discussed before the contempt I have for Dr Phil (I think Jerry Springer ranks better than him since at least he doesn't claim to be helping anyone).
