I indeed did not make explicit use of it... and you can't really charge people with it through implicit usage too much, because that would be almost all of the time. Any time I assert something without stating that I only "think" or "believe" whether I have evidence on my side or not, would technically be an absolute assertion if interpreted totally formally.
