I live next to a really old and gorgeous cemetery, that displays all the splendor of the seasons.
An interesting alleyway next to two of my former schools.
You would never believe that this is next to a busy highway!
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Really? I forget that people are afraid of spiders. I find them fascinating - actually spiders and insects. They make great macro studies. Both of the pictures are of spiders much smaller than they look in the photos. The second one is what we call a money spider, tiny little thing probably a couple of mm's across.
This one almost worked - its another spider so I'll hide it.
Again taken with the phone. Really hard to force the camera to focus on the web rather than the background. Sadly the spider had her legs folded under her so all you get is the body.
I don't think anyone would find this chap scary - he's more spider monkey than anything else:
This is probably another candidate for hiding. I just found him fascinating. Imagine going around with these things on your head:
Kuusi palaa, ja on viimeinen kerta kun annan vaimoni laittaa jouluvalot!

YES!!! And I even remember the exact moment my arachnophobia was born. I was like four years old and I found a spider the size of a dime on my bed. I screamed and ran for my parents and when they came to kill it it was gone...
Didn't sleep in my bed for a week.
I'm getting better about it, though. I killed a teensy one in my bathroom the other week, and flushed another teensy one down the shower drain when I found it in my tub. I've found so many spiders in my bathroom that it's automatic for me to scan the crack between the wall and ceiling for them when I go in there. And I've been trapped in my bathroom because of a spider over the door before.

Insects, yes. Scorpions, yes. Spiders, FUCK NO!!!! Especially if they're black.
Ewww, I'm creeping myself out.
