Eternal doesn't quite match the original word. It's just a long time. Eternal life is spiritual life that supposedly doesn't end at physical death.

God is a concept, by which we measure our pain. Oh sorry... Who. God is love.

I never understood Christian theology. This concept of linguistic devices somehow being creating meaning makes no sense. Being "born again and "spiritual death" all make no sense to me. If lying and semantics are the primary tools for Christian theology then no wonder it is going belly up int his day and age.
