If you want to beat the depression listen up.
Accept your baseline of happiness / unhappiness.
Don't hope to feel better or even try to feel better. If you chase happiness then you will find it at times but when it's not there you will feel really bad.
When you start to feel bad just reject it. It's not that hard.
When you get used to your baseline of happiness then every small joy that comes your way will feel good.
Eventually life the way you are will feel normal and you will be happy in your own way.

Change your expectations of what happiness is. Discipline your mind and feeling bad for no reason will go away.

Everyone can. I've had my personal demons and I kicked them to the curb. It didn't happen overnight.

If you want to be a certain way you just have to make up your mind to do it. Walk the walk and it will be natural one day. Reject fucked up shit and decide to be good to everyone including yourself.

The only reason you can't do it is if you don't want to bad enough. It is a fact that the brain can be rewired but it is you that has to do the rewiring.
